In June 2019 PTA were involved in two activities in Bangkok Thailand.

PTA General Manager, Philip Briggs visited the Department of Science Service, Centre for Laboratory Proficiency Testing.  The meeting involved an exchange of information and current issues relating to proficiency testing services.  

Also in Bangkok PTA attended the Asia Pacific Food Analysis Network (APFAN)  “Food Analysis Workshop: Proficiency Testing and Reference Materials Development”.  The APFAN workshop had 120 attendees from various economies throughout South East Asia and Australia.  The workshop program had a plenary session, oral presentations and workshops on proficiency testing and use of reference materials for proficiency testing.
