On the 24 - 26 November 2015, PTA conducted a combined training, audit and consultancy on proficiency testing to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17043 for the National Institute of Food Control (NIFC) in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The project included a one day training course for a total of 30 staff from the NIFC and Vietnam Food Administration. This was followed by a two day audit and consultancy of NIFC current proficiency testing operations.

PTA consider that this project will be beneficial for NIFC to be compliant for the technical and management requirements of ISO/IEC 17043 in preparation for future accreditation as a proficiency provider.
